THE QUEEN, THE QUEEN!

Went to sch today for english remedial. It finished at 9.45 and I had an Np meeting at 12.30 so I brought my bio books to do the mindmaps. But didn't do it cause I went to the National Library with Naomi, Jaslyn, Junjie, Weelic and Chaitanya to look for the article from 2004. Well, we decided to go to the Bugis Library because we thought there weren't any Microfilms in the other libraries. Anyways, to make a long story short, at the library, we SAW THE QUEEN![U would have expected this from the title of this entry. haha.] THE QUEEN! Not juz any queen... It was QUEEN ELIZABETH! FROM ENGLAND! CAN U BELIEVE IT!? I mean... how many people actually get a chance to see such an important person in PERSON!? Wow... we were so lucky.
So how did it actually happen?
Well... When we reached the library, we saw this mass of people lining up along the main entrance of the library. None of us had a clue of wat the event was. We just used the side entrance like anyone else. Then, we went up to the 11th storey[cause there's where the microfilms are]. When we were about to enter the books section, the guard woman told us to leave our bags in the lockers ad that the queen was coming. All of us were clueless. "What queen?" we all asked. The guard woman then informed us that the Queen of England was coming to the library as part of her visit of Singapore, but the time she would be coming to the lirary was not confirmed. So, we juz continued with our search for the article[Although Junjie was somehow overly excited about the queen...] Oh yeah, we also learned how to use the microfilm machine today. haha. ANyways, as me, Jaslyn and Naomi were about to leave the library, because we had to go back to school, the Queen CAME! THE QUEEN! Yea, with those other pple in blazers. She was an old lady in green. Yup. Quite a sight there. With all the people taking pictures and all. But somehow, she looked like a nice old lady. haha. There, we juz stared at her and talked about how lucky we were until she left that floor. We were Pretty lucky to have met her there if u ask me. I mean.. the time of her arrival was unknown, and none of us even read the newspapers or anything about her coming to singapore. Whats more, we just went to the library to find those articles for the english project. Then, she came at that exact same time that we came? That was so coincidential. Haha. Lucky bunch of kids we were. haha.

Well, so that was it for the queen. Unbelievable rite? haha.

After that, we went back to school and I went for the Np meeting.
The rest was usual. Slack day again.
Nowadays, really dun feel like doing homework liao la.. Like SS, I read the article but... I dozed off after every paragraph. -.-.. Then, after I read the nxt paragraph, I would forget the first one. So I practically didnt get the article at all. Not even one bit. I also didnt understand wat they were talking about. Haha.

Haiz, school's gonna re-open soon. The "holidays" pass by so fast. haha. But nvm. At least I'll be able to see my friends and stuff again rite? haha. YES! School Rocks, man, haha. -.-...
O yeah, before i forget. My com is Like spoiled? Now can't even play liao. Haha. Darn.
